From the President:
We have had solar panels on the club’s roof for just over a year. The fact that they are generating some income for CBC at a difficult time is one piece of good news. May the sun shine brightly.
Best wishes,
Pam

Mentoring
Mentoring does not always have to be held in May. Let us see how the current situation develops and we will then decide on an appropriate month for this enjoyable activity.
Kantar Lessons
Kantar lessons were in the pipeline for April and will be rescheduled when we can.
The next two topics will be
- ‘Plan Ahead: Manipulate your entries’, and
- ‘Plan Ahead: Using inferences to plan the play’
Lighter Moments
A panda walks into a café. He orders a sandwich, eats it, and then draws a gun and fires two shots into the air.
"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes towards the exit.
The panda produces a poorly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.
"I'm a panda," he says, at the door. "Look it up."
The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.
"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."
